It may be all the rage among handy geeks to design and build one’s own MAME cabinet. But wouldn’t it be nice, just this once, to have enough money to go out and simply buy one?
French trunk maker Pinel & Pinel unveiled the Arcade 80’s Trunk earlier this month. A chromium plated dashboard, rubber and aluminum wheels and a cabinet crafted in calfskin (crocodile available upon request) house a 1080p monitor, high-end sound system and over 60 classic games including Space Invaders, Pac-Man and 1942.
Available in a variety of colors and with optional racing stripes, the only thing this high-end arcade cab doesn’t come with is a price tag. Apparently, if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.
